Because we get deeply involved in supporting our clients' business we get asked to deal with a range of financial, accounting and tax matters. We do this so that we are able to help our clients do the things that they would rather someone else did in order for them to focus on getting on with running their business. We went that extra mile, going through the painful process of becoming a registered tax agent with HMRC so that we could support clients in these matters and file clients tax and VAT returns for them should they so wish. We are competitive in this area and aim to make it as easy and understandable for our clients as possible. We'll do the dull stuff so you don't have to.

Accounting & Reporting

Do your accounts and reports tell you what you need to know and fast?  We can advise on, procure and implement Accounting and Reporting Systems for your business, although unless you are a start up business in our experience it is often how an existing Management Information System is configured that causes a business problems rather than the software product itself. We also implement and manage changes to existing systems

Compliance

We can advise on or carry out a whole range of compliance activities ranging from Companies House Filings, through Reporting and filing returns with HMRC

Advice

Tax, VAT and accounting can be confusing and complex even if you are familiar with it. We'll get to the bottom of an issue and provide advice on how you can deal with issues and help you asses the risks that you are dealing with. We'll help you understand the real facts too as there are many myths out there about what you can and what you can't do. 

Tax Agents must now be regulated.  South Eastern Business Services is a member firm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and is registered with HMRC as an Agent. This enables us to provide additional services for clients such as completion of VAT returns (compliant with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements), Corporation Tax Returns or Personal Self Assessment Tax Returns. We can submit other tax related returns too - contact us for pricing and details. A member firm of the ICAEW is considered to be "in practice" as chartered accountants.
